Contemporary Realism at the National Arts Club (ACOPAL Opening)
When I arrived at the ACOPAL Exhibition of Contemporary American Realism, the opening was in full swing. I immediately recognized some of my favorite figurative artists: Cesar Santos, Dan Thompson, Patricia Watwood, David Jon Kassan, and Paul W. McCormack. This was the most impressive collection of contemporary realism that I’ve seen on display in New York. It was truly and inspiration to see. Below is a video of the speech given by Dianne Bernhard, the acting president of The National Arts Club.
Here are some photos from the show.

18.05.2011 at 23:30Thank you for sharing this event with us all. It’s always encouraging to see Contemporary Realism supported and displayed. I will continue to pursue my representational work with hope that it will be welcomed more frequently in such wonderful clubs and galleries.
