I am auctioning off this framed, 5″x7″ painting of my cat, Molly. The proceeds will go to the rescue in Egypt that took her in off the street and saved her from starvation. This rescue, Safe Haven Egypt, works endlessly to save abused cats and get them the medical attention they need.

This is a great chance to help a small rescue, run by the goodwill and dedication of two women who volunteer their time. In the time I have been following this rescue, I have seen them save numerous cats and place them in loving homes. I hope that donating my painting will help SHE continue to help more cats in desperate need.
Little Berry Thief, 2017, Oil on Panel, 5″x7″
Molly was found starving and dehydrated near a cafe in Cairo earlier this year. A kind woman was touched by Molly’s beautiful, sensitive eyes and notified Safe Haven Egypt. They took her in and nursed her back to health. When I saw she needed a home, I felt compelled to adopt her. I hoped she and Mixy, my other Egyptian Persian, would get along.
Molly was lucky to get a flight to New York City on the 4th of July. It only took a few weeks for Mixy and Molly to become good friends!
Safe Haven Egypt relies on donations to help so many injured and abandoned cats. If you love cats and fine art, this is your chance to get an original work of art and donate to a good cause all at once!
