The New Yorker’s Passport to the Arts was a neat event that we stumbled upon.

Although we only toured one gallery involved, we had a wonderful time at the gala cocktail party! Here are some photos from the event.

Passport to the Arts is a celebration of the New York art scene – a self-guided gallery walk through premier art destinations in Chelsea and Soho. Guests are given a special passport, which is stamped with artist-created designs to mark each stop on the gallery tour. The day culminates in a gala cocktail party and silent auction benefiting a local charity, where guests are given the opportunity to bid on original pieces of art.
