Peony Painting: 4-Session Workshop (Online)

Join Stephanie Deshpande this January for a 4-session Zoom workshop on painting peonies in oil. Stephanie will break the process into manageable steps, simplifying it to make the experience both enjoyable and easy to follow. You’ll learn to capture the delicate forms and rich textures of peonies while focusing on light, shadow, and color. The process will cover blocking in the composition to establish the foundation, learning comparative measurement for accuracy, and massing in value shapes to define form. You’ll also focus on observing values, edges, and color relationships. In the final session, you’ll explore glazing techniques to add depth and luminosity to your painting.

Participants will receive a digital handbook, access to recorded sessions, and personalized feedback via email. All levels are welcome to join.
