This is about the extent of the sculptures I have worked on in my lifetime. These were all done when I was in college. I especially liked that while working in three dimensions I didn’t need to have a model or a photograph as a reference. I based the first three sculptures off of sketches I had done in my journal. I had more freedom working in clay than I do when I paint. It seems I may be a more open-formed sculptor than painter.
This was a classroom exercise where we had a partner we used as a model.
