
Tribute to the Emanuel Nine — A Portrait Project
Principle Gallery in Charleston, SC is hosting an exhibition of portraits of the nine Mother Emanuel AME Church victims for the families and friends of the Emanuel Nine. The Exhibition is scheduled for May 29th, the day before Memorial Day and will honor the one year anniversary of the tragic event. The exhibition will open to the public from 6-8 pm and will remain on display through June. The portraits are being donated to the families and were painted by nine well-known artists. The artists are as follows:
