It’s time for me to throw out my old brushes and start using these new ones. Now that I think about it, some of my brushes were probably 15 years old. The bristles were getting so stiff I couldn’t use them anymore. One of my “good” brushes was the one that my daughter got with a cheap watercolor set over the summer. Certainly not ideal for oil paint.

I am looking forward to a fresh start. I bought a new brush cleaner in hopes that it will keep my new brushes in better shape.

I need to consider this an investment.
